A Hopkinsville man was charged after he was found in possession of a vehicle that had been reported stolen on East 9th Street Sunday morning.
Hopkinsville Police say they stopped 58-year-old Robert Hood after city cameras notified them the vehicle had been reported stolen and was in the area of McLean Avenue.
The vehicle was found at the Travel Inn and he was reportedly found to have crack cocaine along with cigarettes containing crack cocaine. He was arrested and charged with theft by unlawful taking and possession of a controlled substance.
