Hopkinsville’s Pennyroyal Interiors Under New Ownership

A Christian County resident, Cadiz native and University Heights Academy graduate, Jared Cravens has purchased Pennyroyal Interiors from long-time owner Joe Cook.

Also a commercial painter with his father-in-law for the last eight years, Cravens has been managing a modest investment real estate portfolio, and he plans to bring his experience in the commercial paint industry to this storefront.

Cravens said the business will continue to offer the same product lines currently available, which include multiple brands of paint, flooring, blinds and other interior supplies. He noted there are plans to expand inventory in the future, and that he’s excited to serve the community by operating the only locally-owned paint store in Hopkinsville.

While the namesake of Pennyroyal Interiors will remain the same, the store — located at 414 North Drive — will be undergoing some cosmetic changes. This includes the clearing out of carpet, laminate and linoleum inventory, with a small update to the showroom.

Store hours are 8 AM until 5 PM on weekdays, and from 8 AM until noon Saturdays.
