A celebration of life for 62-year-old Billy Le’Roy Yax, Sr., of Oak Grove, will be held at a later date.
Maddux-Fuqua-Hinton Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Survivors include:
His fiancé, Laura Lee Bohl, of Oak Grove;
His sons, Billy Yax Jr. (Amber), of Idaho, and Timothy Yax;
His daughter, Veronica Wilkinson, of Texas;
His brother, Gerald Yax, of Oak Grove;
His sisters, Tammy Lamrouex, of Florida, Terry Boylan-Reasner, of Michigan, and Tracie Boylan, of Florida;
Other additional daughters, Cailyn Mclane, of Oak Grove, Erin McLane, of Hopkinsville, and Shaylee McLane, of Hopkinsville;
And 11 grandchildren.
He died Sunday, December 31, 2023, of natural causes at his home.
He was born October 22, 1961, in Owosso, Michigan, the son of late William Le’Roy and Kathlen Carol Devereaux Yax.
Yax was a truck driver for Watkins Express Freight and was of the Christian faith. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Theresa Fry.
