A man was charged after he allegedly assaulted another man with a baseball bat on South Henderson Drive Friday night.
Hopkinsville Police say 55-year-old Timothy King hit a man in the head with a baseball bat during an altercation just before 10 p.m.
The man who was assaulted was taken by ambulance to Tennova Health Care in Clarksville with a severe head injury.
King was arrested and charged with second-degree assault.
