A Tennessee man was flown to a Nashville hospital after a wreck on Lafayette Road in Christian County Wednesday afternoon.
Christian County Sheriff’s deputies say a dump truck driven by Ronald Leffler was southbound near Bennettstown Street when he lost control causing the truck to run off the road and overturn spilling a load of gravel.
Leffler had to be cut out of the truck before he was treated and transported by Hopkinsville EMS to a waiting helicopter that flew him to a Nashville hospital.
The crash happened just before 1 p.m.
