A Hopkinsville man was injured in a shooting on Short 19th Street at the intersection of Twyman Square Tuesday morning.
Hopkinsville Police say they were called just before 5 a.m. to the area for a report of shots fired and found a man who had been shot in the head, and a house that was hit several times. The man was rushed to Jennie Stuart Health by private vehicle and police blocked off the road as they investigated the shooting.
Police say the man was later taken by Hopkinsville EMS to Skyline Medical Center in Nashville due to his injuries.
