Catherine was the daughter of the late John Thomas and Mosie Lee White Brasher. She was born on April 17, 1931, in Christian Co.
Catherine enjoyed shopping, yard sales, and spending time with her family. Because she was so nurturing, she raised several children, her grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. She loved being around people.
She was a First Street Baptist Church member and attended Refugee Hope of Christ.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Ralph A. Kimbrough, Sr.; Daughter, Beverly D. Kimbrough; Siblings, Dorothy Chambers, Vera Lewis, Cleo Robertson, Avill Brasher, and Johnny Thomas.
Survivors include her children, Linda Kimbrough, Sandra (Clayton) Powell, and Ralph J. (Donna) Kimbrough, Dr. Ralph (Felecia) Kimbrough; Siblings, Renota Hayes, Brenda Brasher, Larnell Brasher, and Valeria Ewing, 11 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren, and 34 great-great-grandchildren; a host of nieces and nephews.
