Three men were charged in connection to a robbery in a woodline off West 7th Street Thursday morning.

Hopkinsville Police say 25-year-old Timothy Lyle, 27-year-old Maurice Catlett, and 34-year-old Jeffery White were all charged after a 58-year-old man was pushed and his money and backpack were taken.

All three men were charged with complicity to second-degree robbery. Lyle was also charged with possession of meth and synthetic drugs after he was reportedly found to have the suspected drugs in a bag during the arrest.

While being arrested, Catlett reportedly fought officers and attempted to flee on foot before striking an officer in the mouth. Police say he was found to have pills and meth in his possession.

Catlett was also charged with third-degree assault, first-degree fleeing or evading police, possession of meth, and resisting arrest.
