Museums of Historic Hopkinsville-Christian County A Step Closer To Funding Clocktower Repairs

The Museums of Historic Hopkinsville-Christian County is on the backside of a successful 1980s-themed fundraiser held last month.
Museum Learning Coordinator Brett Pritchett told Your News Edge the fundraiser brought in around $16,000. He said everyone seemed to have a great time.

Pritchett added the money would help pay for repairs for the historic Hopkinsville clocktower, which was damaged during a March storm.

As for upcoming events for the museum, he shared there will be a “bonus supper club” on Thursday evening, December 16, at 6:00.

Pritchett said there have been several cultures looked at with the supper and book club.

As we barrel toward Thanksgiving week, the museum will be closed on Thursday, November 23. They will be open regular hours, from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., Monday-Wednesday and Black Friday and Small Business Saturday.
