A home on Cavanah Lane in Christian County was badly damaged in a fire Friday afternoon.
Crofton Fire Department Assistant Chief Brian Diamond says the owner of the home was in his shop when he noticed smoke coming from the roof of his house.
The fire is believed to have started with a space heater but the cause has not been officially determined.
The home is located at 1024 Cavanah Lane. Crofton Fire Department was assisted by the Westside and Lacy Fire Departments.
