The City of Hopkinsville is approving an incentive for a new downtown business. Tuesday night, City Council approved a municipal order for Phoenix Property Group of WKY. City Clerk Brittany Byrum says the new business is estimating a $2 million investment and city is granting a tax rebate.
Councilman Travis Martin clarified the benefits for the city.
In other business, City Council apprived the first reading of the Princeton Road rezoning, the mask prohibition ordinance, and moving Code Enforcement to the fire department.
