Statewide Races Highlight Trigg County Election Ballot

While Trigg countians registered to vote in the November General Election can vote at any of the seven polling locations on Tuesday, November 7, there will be a change for those who choose to vote in Cerulean.

County Clerk Carmen Finley told Your News Edge that voters will no longer cast ballots at the Cerulean Volunteer Fire Department, instead, they will now visit Cerulean Baptist Church.

click to download audioThere will be six other locations on Election Day that any Trigg County voter can visit.

click to download audioWhile this election focuses on state-wide offices like Governor and Lt. Governor, Attorney General, Ag Commissioner, etc., there will be two constable positions on the ballot. Both will be write-in and are only for voters who live in the first and seventh districts of Trigg County.

Finley said 907 people voted in the three-day early voting window last week with nearly 125 people casting absentee ballots. She said those numbers solidify her expectations of a 30-percent turnout.
