Patty Henderson Fitz passed away Thursday, 12 October 2023 at Victorian Villa Personal Care Center in Dallastown, PA. Graveside services will be conducted by Rev. Matt Crook at a later date at Riverside Cemetery. Hughart, Beard, & Giles Funeral Home is in charge of local arrangements.
A native of Hopkinsville, she was born on 6 Jul 1943, she was a daughter of the late Gordon Howard Henderson and Margery E. (Williams) Henderson. Patty worked in sales at Musselman Jewelers in York, PA, retiring in 2001. She was a member of the local Colonel John Green Chapter, Daughters of the American Revolution. She enjoyed traveling, reading, gardening, and spending time with her family and friends.
Ms. Fitz is survived by two daughters, Lisa (Mike) Yocum of Fairfield, PA and Betsy (John) Pomory of Manchester, PA; five grandchildren: Cara (Jonathan) Pinker, Ethan Yocum & wife Aliza, Lexie Pomory, McKenna Pomory, and Samantha Pomory; a brother James T. Henderson of Hopkinsville; as well as many nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her former husband , Ernie Fitz, as well as a brother, Larry G. Henderson.
