Crash Report Leads To Third Time DUI Charges For Tennessee Man

A Tennessee man was charged with DUI and wanton endangerment in Oak Grove Saturday.

Oak Grove Police say they were called to the area for a report of a wreck on Interstate 24 with the driver leaving the scene and located 26-year-old Christian Polina in a parking lot on Kentucky 115 with his passenger on the ground groaning.

He had reportedly tossed several alcohol containers onto the side of the road on Interstate 24 before getting to the parking lot and the airbags in the vehicle had deployed in the crash blocking Polina’s view.

An ambulance was called to check out the passenger but was canceled when he claimed he was not injured.

Polina was arrested and charged with second-degree wanton endangerment, leaving the scene of an accident, failure to produce an insurance card, obstructed vision and/or windshield, and DUI third offense.
