Trigg Countian Lucille Major was named the 2023 Trigg County Farm Mom of the Year Thursday morning.
The honor was presented to Mrs. Major, who is 97 years old, by Trigg County Agriculture Committee member Stephanie Perry.
Perry says Mrs. Lucille was active in every part of the farm and maintained the home as well.
Mrs. Major was humbled by the award. Perry shared numerous stories about Major and her late husband Eddie Major during the award presentation.
