A storm spotter training geared toward seniors will be presented at the Trigg County Senior Citizens Center later this month.
The session will be hosted by Christine Wielgos from the National Weather Service in Paducah on Tuesday morning, October 17, beginning at 10:00.
Trigg County Emergency Management Director David Bryant said the course will help them learn the basics about severe and winter weather.
During that session, Bryant is planning to give out some special prizes.
The prizes were purchased thanks to a $1,000 donation from the Cadiz Rotary Club.
