A Hopkinsville man was charged after he fled from police on Avalon Boulevard Friday afternoon
Hopkinsville Police say they were attempting to arrest 43-year-old Jason Mayton on a warrant for probation violation and he fled on foot.
He was located and then arrested on the warrant and charged with first-degree fleeing or evading police.
Police say this is his 44th arrest and he has a history of charges of domestic violence, violating protection orders, probation violations and fleeing and evading.
