A Hopkinsville woman was charged with drug possession after a report of a disturbance on Lafayette Road Thursday afternoon.
Hopkinsville Police say they were called to the area for a wreck and told about a disturbance between 22-year-old Jordan Smith and her father.
She was reportedly riding on the outside of her father’s truck until he pulled over.
Police say Smith would not comply with their commands or stand still and kept interrupting officers while they were talking with her father.
After a search of her belongings, she was reportedly found to have several small bags with trace amounts of meth inside them.
She was arrested and charged with alcohol intoxication in a public place and possession of meth.
