Carolyn Dillard, 80, of Virginia

Carolyn Watkins Dillard, 80, of Virginia and Christian County, passed away on Saturday, September 16, 2023.

Carolyn was the daughter of the late Coleman Watkins and Louella Watkins. She was born August 13, 1943, in Christian Co.Carolyn enjoyed cooking, shopping, looking at jewelry, and spending time with her family. She was a member of Gordonsville Baptist Church where she served on the Usher Board and Culinary Committee.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her son Brandon Dillard.

Survivors include her sister, Dale Maxie; Brother, Peter Watkins; Sons, Mark and Lonnie (Janice) Dillard; 8 grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren.

Gamble Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.

Funeral services will be Friday, September 29 at 11:00 at Gamble Funeral Home

Visitation will be on Friday at 11:00 a.m.

Burial will follow in the Cave Springs Cemetery
