A Clarksville woman was charged with drug possession after being arrested on warrants in Hopkinsville Sunday afternoon.
Hopkinsville Police say 54-year-old Tammy Herring was arrested on warrants for being a fugitive from another state and failure to appear.
After being arrested, she was reportedly found to have a pill bottle with eight pills believed to be Buprenorphine in her underwear.
She was also then charged with first-degree possession of a controlled substance (drug unspecified) and tampering with physical evidence.
