A fight between a man and woman on Pyle Lane led to the man being stabbed and the woman being assaulted Wednesday morning.
Hopkinsville Police say 41-year-old Jermain Mckinney fought with his child’s mother 37-year-old Kiera Jackson over the child and leaving the home.
He reportedly pulled Jackson’s hair and punched her in the head. Jackson allegedly got a knife and during the struggle over the knife they fell on the floor and McKinney was stabbed in the shoulder.
Hopkinsville EMS took McKinney to the hospital for treatment before he was arrested and charged with fourth-degree assault (domestic violence). Johnson was also arrested and charged with second-degree assault (domestic violence).
