Buc-ee’s is no longer considering a location along Interstate 24 at Exit 1 in Clarksville.
Clarksville Now is reporting that Buc-ee’s has withdrawn its site review after it could not come to terms with the Tennessee Department of Transportation. The Director of Regional Planning reportedly confirmed the report and provided a copy of an email from Buc-ee’s to the online news site that said “Buc-ee’s is no longer confident in their ability to come to an agreement regarding the necessary traffic improvements in the near future.”
Buc-ee’s is reportedly referring to work that needed to be done to build up infrastructure on Exit 1, Trenton Road, and Tylertown Road before they could be located in Clarksville.
Reports indicated that Buc-ee’s was considering a location on the north side of Interstate 24 at Exit One in Clarksville
