Hopkinsville and Christian County leaders joined with Jeffers Bend to officially proclaim September 11th through the 16th as Nature Fest Week.
Among those reading the joint proclamation was Hopkinsville Water Environment Authority Moss Water Treatment Plant Supervisor Nikki Chambers.
Jeffers Bend Committee Treasurer Mark Cansler was among those presenting.
Christian County Judge Executive Jerry Gilliam also talked about the importance of the event.
Hopkinsville Mayor J. R. Knight encouraged everyone to attend.
Nature Fest is planned for Saturday, September 16, from 1 until 5 at Jeffers Bend.
