Donald Watkins, 62, of Hopkinsville

Donald Wayne “Disco” Watkins, 62, Hopkinsville, passed on Tuesday, September 5, 2023.

Services will be Wednesday, September 13 at 11:00 at the Durrett Avenue Baptist Church.

Burial will follow in the Cave Springs Cemetery.

Visitation will be Wednesday morning at 10:00 at the church.

Gamble Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.

Donald was the son of the late Fred Kay. He was born on March 26, 1961, in Christian County.Donald was a member of Durrett Avenue Baptist Church and was employed with Riverside Truck Sales as a Part and Labor Handler.

He enjoyed watching Dallas Cowboys and UK football, hanging out with his friends and family, doing word search puzzles, fishing, and detailing cars.

In addition to his father, he is preceded in death by his sister, Elizabeth W. Catlett.

Survivors include his mother, Verna Watkins; siblings, Lloyd (Alishia) Boyd, Jerome Watkins, Laverne (Osman) Huseny, Gloria Watkins, Alfred (Sonya) Watkins, Reginald (Veronica) Watkins, Jenyika Boyd; a host of nieces and nephews.
