The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet has announced road repairs that will take place in downtown Hopkinsville.
The repairs will focus on fixing the base failure on Walnut Street over the course of Thursday and Friday. As a result, there may be traffic delays, and flaggers will be present to guide drivers. The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet advises drivers to consider using alternate routes to avoid potential delays.
The repair work will be conducted on Walnut Street between the CSX railroad bridge and Ninth Street, in anticipation of the upcoming resurfacing of Walnut Street in the following weeks.
