Teresa “Sissy” Mason, age 60, of Hopkinsville, KY, passed away on Monday, August 21, 2023, at her home after a fight with cancer. Funeral services will be at 1:00 PM on Friday, August 25, 2023, at Maddux-Fuqua-Hinton Funeral Home with burial to follow at Riverside Cemetery. Visitation will be at Maddux-Fuqua-Hinton Funeral Home Friday, August 25, 2023, from 10:00 AM until 1:00 PM. Maddux-Fuqua-Hinton Funeral Home has been entrusted by the family to handle the arrangements.
Teresa was born on January 21, 1963, in Princeton, KY, the daughter of Ginny Patterson Craft and the late William Earl Hale. She was a cook and waitress for Roundies, Fishing Hole and Plow Point, and Nanny Sissy for CJ and Emmy. Teresa was a member of Edgewood Baptist Church. She enjoyed being a part of the Walk to Emmaus. She loved photography, concerts, and traveling. In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her husband, Mark Aldridge Mason Sr. in 2004; and her brother-in-law, Terry Mason.
In addition to her mother, Ginny Craft (Jerry) of Cadiz, survivors include her sons, Mark Mason Jr. (Brooke) of Hopkinsville, and Dylan Mason of Hopkinsville; her daughter, Sasha Hale Bowles of Hopkinsville; her brothers, Jeff Hale (Sharon) of Hopkinsville, Gary Hale (Monica) of Longview, TX and Sam Lubben of Hopkinsville; her half-brother, Terry Hale (Yvonne) of Cerulean; her sister, Jennifer Hansley (Chris) of Crofton; her grandchildren, Skylar Lynn Hansley, Waylon Bowles, Jackson Bowles, Savannah Bowles, Ellie Rose Mason, Matilda Mason; her in-laws, Frank Sr. and Ruth Mason of Hopkinsville; her brother-in-law, Frank Mason (Tiffany) of Christian County; and several nieces and nephews.
