Drug Charges Filed Against Hopkinsville Man

A Hopkinsville man was charged with drug trafficking after being arrested on Greenville Road Friday afternoon.

Christian County Sheriff’s deputies say they stopped 39-year-old William Beard for active warrants for probation violation and failure to appear. During the stop, he admitted to having synthetic drugs.

He was found to have 20 pills marked M30 that did not appear to be from a pharmacy. He was arrested and charged with possession of synthetic drugs, tampering with physical evidence, and trafficking Fentanyl.
