Troy Lynn Robnett, 86, of Hopkinsville

A memorial service for 86-year-old Troy Lynn Robnett, of Hopkinsville, will be held at 1 PM Saturday, August 26, at Goodwin Funeral Home.

Private interment will follow in Hopkinsville’s Peaceful Meadows in Hopkinsville.

Visitation will be from 11 AM until the funeral hour.

He is survived by:
His wife of 59 years, June Oliver Robnett, of Hopkinsville;
Two daughters, Tina Larson, of Spanish Fork, Utah, and Gina Hickson, of College Station, Texas;
A sister, Judy Turner, of Hopkinsville;
19 grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren.

He died Friday, August 18, 2023, at his home in Hopkinsville.

He was born January 27, 1937, in Klondike, Texas, the son of late Ewing Glen Robnett and Minnie Ann Robnett Fields, née Cockrum.

He was retired from Freudenberg Nonwovens where he was employed as an assistant foreman and had previously worked at International Shoe Factory.

Robnett enjoyed fishing, boat rides, target practice and working on home improvement projects with his wife. In his younger years, he loved shooting pool, with his skills earning him the reputation of a pool shark.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his step-father, Edward “Papaw” Fields; his brother, Larry Robnett; his son, Terry L. Robnett; and son-in-law, Reed Hickson.
