Police have released the names of two of the five people that were injured in a wreck on East 12th Street in Hopkinsville Tuesday morning.
Hopkinsville Police say a van driven by 22-year-old Emmanuel Ixcol Lopez of Hopkinsville was eastbound when it hit a parked SUV pushing it into four people on the side of the road. Ixcol Lopez, along with Nyjana Kimbrough, were flown to a Nashville hospital.
Three other people that were hit by the parked vehicle were treated at the scene for injuries. The crash happened just after midnight.
No arrest has been made but the report lists possible charges as DUI, no operator’s license, failure to produce an insurance card, no registration receipt, and four counts of first-degree wanton endangerment.
