Graveside services for George will be held at 10:30 AM Wednesday, August 16, at Glenwood Cemetery in Elkton.

Latham Funeral Home is in charge of local arrangements.

Survivors include:
A daughter, Patti George, of Frankfort;
Two sisters-in-law, Nancy Thomas Camp, of Elkton, and Lou Camp, of Trenton;
One niece, one nephew, one great-niece, and several cousins and friends.

George died at Tuesday, August 8, 2023, at Baptist Health in Louisville.

She was born in Elkton, the late Doc and Mary Glenn Hall Camp in her grandparents’ home.

She grew up surrounded by aunts, uncles and cousins, and they were a strong influence in her life, even when she traveled overseas as an Army wife.

When she wasn’t sewing or trying out the latest craft (tole painting, basket weaving, etc.), she worked at King’s Daughters Memorial Hospital.

She was known as the office joke-teller, and her laughter could often be heard in the halls. Anne played host to a group of teenagers when her daughter was in high school, and enjoyed the gatherings as much as they did.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her daughter’s father, Tom P. George; two brothers, Bobby Hall Camp and Garth Camp Jr.
