Funeral services for 83-year-old Bobby Ray Allen, Sr., of Cadiz, will be 2 PM Saturday at Goodwin Funeral Home.
Burial will follow in the Jones Cemetery on Caledonia Road in Trigg County.
Visitation will be after 4 PM Friday.
He is survived by:
One son, Bobby Ray (Connie) Allen, Jr., of Cadiz;
One daughter, Audrey (Steve) Scott, of Cerulean;
Two sisters, Sue Calhoun, of Cadiz, and Patty Herndon, of Eagle Mountain;
And two grandsons.
Allen died Tuesday, August 8, at Murray-Calloway County Hospital in Murray.
He was born December 15, 1939, in Trigg County, the son of late Dennie A. Allen and Imogene Calhoun Allen.
He worked as an arc welder for nearly 25 years at Johnson Controls in Cadiz and was a farmer. He was a faithful member of Oakland United Methodist Church in Cadiz, and enjoyed hunting, fishing, gardening and especially, spending time with his family.
