A round of severe thunderstorms knocked down some trees and dropped the temperature by at least ten degrees across the region Saturday night.
Multiple reports were received by Your Weather Edge of trees being blown down, while the storm dropped temperatures into the lower 70s. It also caused thousands of electric customers to lose power across the region.
The Christian County Kentucky Mesonet site reported a 62 MPH wind gust, while Trigg’s reported a 58 MPH gust.
