The Cadiz Water Department issued a boil water advisory Thursday afternoon for five streets after a water main was struck by utility contractors in the area.
The streets affected are Mimi Street, West End Street from Lafayette Street to Third Street, West Avenue, McNichols Drive, and First Street.
The boil water advisory is in effect until further notice.
