Betty Lou McIntosh Taylor, 86, of Crofton, KY died at 8:38 a.m. Saturday, July 22, 2023, at her residence in Crofton.
Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, July 26, 2023, at Crofton Baptist Church with Dr. Calvin Bryant officiating. Dogwood Funerals & Cremations of Crofton is in charge of arrangements. Visitation will take place from 4:00 p.m.-7:00 p.m. Tuesday evening at Crofton Baptist Church. Burial will follow at Ridgetop Cemetery in Crofton.
A native of Mannington, Kentucky she was born February 26, 1937, the daughter of the late Henry Vandiver and Addie Williams Vandiver. She was employed as a cafeteria worker and as a custodian of the Christian County School System. She was a member of Crofton Baptist Church.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband Charles McIntosh and Claude Taylor; son: Charles Gordon McIntosh; daughter: Judith Floyd; three brothers and six sisters.
Survivors include her daughters: Penny (Bill) Thielen of Crofton, Kentucky; Sandra Brown of Crofton, Kentucky and Sara (Kenny) McGar of Crofton, Kentucky; 13 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren and five great-great-grandchildren.
In Lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be made to Crofton Baptist Church or Pennyroyal Hospice.
