The Herndon community was left without a BBQ place when the owners of Knockum Hill BBQ retired earlier this year and closed the popular business.

The void didn’t last long as another Christian County BBQ business plans to expand to southern Christian County.

Mindy Hargrove with The Bar-B-Que Shack is partnering with Jeremy and Tabitha Strader to open “The Bar-B-Que Shack Two” in the former Knockum Hill location on Lafayette Road.

Hargrove said they are looking forward to opening the business on Thursday, August 3rd.

Mindy said they want to carry on the Hargrove name in Herndon.
