A Hopkinsville man was charged after he allegedly kidnapped a woman on North Fowler Avenue Sunday morning.
Hopkinsville Police say a man and woman went to a home on North Fowler Avenue to meet up with 28-year-old Devon Williamson, who lives at the address, and he got angry and fired a shot, claiming the woman took some of his belongings.
Williamson then allegedly would not let the woman leave but let the man she was with leave and he called for law enforcement. Police surrounded the house and were able to get Williamson and the woman to exit the house without anyone being injured.
Williamson was arrested and charged with first-degree wanton endangerment, first-degree unlawful imprisonment, third-degree terroristic threatening, and kidnapping.
