McCoy Joins Christian County Chamber For Marketing And Events

Officials with the Christian County Chamber of Commerce have announced Michael McCoy as their new director of marketing & events.

He follows the position left open by KaDee Andreasen, who is relocating to East Tennessee for family needs.

Chamber President & CEO Taylor Hayes notes that McCoy not only brings the experience needed for the position, but also a fresh perspective and entrepreneurial spirit to the organization. Hayes said Andreasen deserves a “big thank you” for working remotely while McCoy settled in, while also elevating the position during her time.

McCoy will be responsible for developing, managing and executing membership events and programs, while overseeing marketing and communications between the Chamber and its various programs with membership and the community.

From Columbus, Georgia, McCoy holds a degree certification in media and communications from Full Sail University and will soon complete his Bachelor of Arts degree at Full Sail University. He’s reportedly well-versed in marketing and event curation, with a background in networking mixers, conferences, community festivals and trade shows.

He’s married with two children, and they frequently participate in faith-based events, musical gatherings and playing baseball.

He began his role on July 10.
