Wednesday Afternoon Storm Causes Damage In Hopkinsville (w/PHOTOS)

A Wednesday afternoon storm in downtown Hopkinsville caused isolated damage, similar to the March 31 straight-line wind event path that damaged The Mixer and the clock tower.

Christian County Emergency Manager Randy Graham confirmed the damage to Your News Edge.

Graham added that Hopkinsville Electric System reported up to 3,000 customers were without power following the storm and that AT&T’s FirstNet, phone service for first responders, was also down.

Photos received by Your News Edge also showed damage at the Valero on East 9th Street in Hopkinsville.
