A Clarksville woman has been arrested and is now in jail after assaulting two nurses and a Hopkinsville Police Officer early Thursday morning.
The incident was reported to the Hopkinsville Police Department at approximately 1:50 AM. According to reports, 50-year-old Lisa Allen kicked and punched two triage nurses at Jennie Stuart Health.
When officers arrived at the hospital, Allen continued to display violent behavior toward them. During the altercation, HPD Officer Jeremiah Kline was kicked by Allen while trying to assist her back onto the hospital bed. Fortunately, no injuries were reported by any of the individuals involved.
Allen is currently being held in the Christian County Jail on charges of third-degree assault against an EMS member and a police officer.
