Severe storms delayed the Mid-South Truck and Tractor Pulls at the Western Kentucky State Fair Friday evening, but officials are hoping for a great final night of the 72nd annual fair Saturday.
Gates open at 3:00 Saturday afternoon, with rides opening at 4:00 PM. Rides will be free for the first hour, and $30 Armbands for unlimited rides will be available until close.
The petting zoo will open at 5:00, while the Pedal Pull Competition in front of the convention center will start at 6:00. The final event for the fair will begin at 7:00 – Ultimate Championship Wrestling in the convention center. Admission will be an additional $2/a person to enter the convention center.
To close the fair, officials will give one lucky person in attendance $1,000. Fairgoers can put their name in the barrel in front of the convention center Saturday, with a winner to be chosen at 9:00 PM.
