Tractor Pulls, Drawing Highlight Friday Night at the Fair

The Western Kentucky State Fair is winding down with just two nights left and a chance to pass last year’s attendance total.

Fair board member Tony Meacham said there will again be events at the convention center and the grandstand tonight.

click to download audioWhile Thursday night’s attendance of 3,681 was a tick smaller than the same night last year, 33,000 people have come through the gates for the first seven nights of this year’s fair which is about 1,000 more than last year, and 5,500 more than the rain-plagued 2021 event.
