Pursuit Ends With Drug Trafficking Charges

A man was charged with drug trafficking after leading law enforcement on a pursuit on Greenville Road Thursday morning.

Christian County Sheriff’s deputies say they attempted to stop a car for going 40 mph over the speed limit around the 10,000 block of Greenville Road and the driver fled towards Hopkinsville. The driver 38-year-old Cornelius Harris was located later and allegedly found to be in possession of drugs.

He was arrested and charged with trafficking marijuana, reckless driving, first-degree fleeing or evading police, speeding, and trafficking opiates.
