The “dog days of summer” are nearly upon us, as hot and humid conditions will return in the coming days.
Weather Edge forecaster David Powell says through Wednesday we will see highs nearing 90 and pushing past that starting Thursday.
Powell says that pattern will not last very long.
Most of western Kentucky remains under the “abnormally dry” category, with southern portions of Logan and Todd counties under “moderate drought.”
