An Oak Grove man was arrested on a warrant for child abuse on Caroline Drive Saturday morning.
Oak Grove Police say the child’s mother came to the police department reporting that 29-year-old Kevin Stokes had assaulted and choked her child that is under 12 years old.
Stokes was found by police Saturday morning and arrested on a warrant for first-degree criminal abuse and first-degree strangulation.
