A Hopkinsville man was charged with meth trafficking after police searched his motel room on Fort Campbell Boulevard Thursday afternoon.
Hopkinsville Police say their special investigations unit was able to get a search warrant for a Rodeway Inn room occupied by 50-year-old Jewell Jones Jr. and 26-year-old Brianna Williams. Meth, money, and drug paraphernalia were reportedly found in the room.
Williams was arrested on an outstanding warrant for non-payment of court costs, fees, or fines. Jones was arrested and charged with trafficking meth and possession of drug paraphernalia.
The Hopkinsville Police Department Special Investigations Unit was also assisted by the Hopkinsville Police Department’s Crime Suppression Unit.
