Wallonia Road in northern Trigg County has reopened after repairs were made to a sinkhole that was discovered last week.
The state transportation cabinet said the section of Kentucky 128 between Barefield Road and Cerulean road was closed last Friday when the small sinkhole — about a foot in diameter — developed in the middle of the road. When crews began their work Monday, they discovered the hole extended about 10 feet under the road.
The sinkhole was filled with concrete and allowed to cure before the road was reopened.
