Teenager Injured In Hopkinsville Shooting

A teenager was injured in a shooting on East 21st Street in Hopkinsville Sunday night.

Hopkinsville Police say they were called to the area for someone firing shots at James Village Apartments. As they were investigating the shots fired call a 17-year-old reportedly showed up at the hospital with a gunshot wound to the ankle.

Police say several shell casings were found in the roadway and one person, who had active warrants, was found hiding inside of an apartment.
