The Trigg County Longspurs National Wild Turkey Federation made a sizeable donation to Mohawk Outdoors to help fund hunting trips for veterans during their annual Jakes Day Saturday at the Harper Farm.
Longspurs Chapter President Ben Harper made a special presentation to Mohawk Outdoors founder J. D. Williams during the annual event.

click to download audioWilliams, who lost an arm and two legs while serving in combat, said Mohawk Outdoors is his mission to help other veterans across the country.
click to download audioMore than 25 children and their family members participated in archery, bb gun shooting, fishing, rifle shooting, and skeets during the event. The event is funded by proceeds raised during the annual banquet in March.
