A traffic stop on Jefferson Street in Cadiz led to drug charges Thursday afternoon.
Cadiz Police say they stopped 38-year-old Katie Stokes, of Cadiz, for possibly being under the influence of some kind of substance. During the stop, she agreed to a search of her vehicle, and three oxycodone pills were found in a cigarette wrapper in her wallet and a loaded gun was found in the glove compartment.
She was arrested and charged with first-degree possession of a controlled substance (drug unspecified).
