Man Charged After Oak Grove Motorcycle Pursuit

A Pembroke man was charged after he reportedly led police on a pursuit in Oak Grove Friday night.

Oak Grove Police say they attempted to stop a motorcycle driven by 26-year-old Elias Pineiro on Fort Campbell Boulevard in the area of Walmart and he fled.

Officers reportedly witnessed the motorcyclist run off the road on the eastbound ramp of Interstate 24.

Pineiro was treated and transported by Hopkinsville EMS to Jennie Stuart Health for possible injuries.

He was later arrested and charged with no registration plates, first-degree fleeing or evading police, reckless driving, failure of owner to maintain required insurance, failure to register or transfer a motor vehicle, operating on a suspended or revoked license, no motorcycle operators license, disregarding a stop sign, and disregarding a traffic control device.
